About HealthEverywhere

HealthEverywhere was originally created to advance remote patient monitoring policy. After several quiet years, the need for clear remote-care policy is stronger: Medicare, Medicaid, clinicians, patients, technology developers, and oversight agencies are all working through how care delivered at home should be paid for, documented, secured, and evaluated.

This site now focuses on policy education for remote medical care, especially where remote tools can help patients who face distance, mobility, transportation, chronic disease, or specialist-access barriers.

What we cover

  • Medicare and Medicaid payment policy for telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and remote therapeutic monitoring.
  • Coverage and coding issues that affect remote care adoption.
  • Compliance expectations, patient consent, documentation, privacy, and fraud prevention.
  • Evidence needs for chronic care, acute care at home, and rural or underserved communities.
  • Federal policy developments from CMS, HHS, Congress, and HHS oversight agencies.

Editorial approach

HealthEverywhere prioritizes primary sources. We link to CMS, HHS, OIG, and other official materials whenever possible. Site content is for policy and educational purposes only and is not legal, billing, coding, or clinical advice.
